talking about myself ha well art school is finished for the year so i've got three months off. that means less drawing naked people in charcoal and more of my own silly lil paintings. next week i'm running away to the coast. i've been stuck in the same place for a real long time. i think the last time i left the general melbourne area was back in 2010. i've spent so much of the past year and a half thinking about the ocean. looking at the mountains in the distance. i want the salty air in my lungs. i want to ramble through the forest. i want to see the seaside carnival lights. i'm going to be alone in a shabby beach house in a small town whe

i started art school a month ago, it's pretty cool i suppose, it was sort of a big deal, me going back to school, no one, especially me, thought i'd ever go back. but hey, i did and it's working for me so far. it's a two year course which is about as long as i can stand haha it's not like art school in america either where you pay hundreds of thousands of dollars and are in debt forever. it's cheap cheap compared. all my teachers are proper working artists too which is the coolest thing ever oh my god. anyway blah blah that's why i haven't posted any paintings in a while. plus im doing a sort of freelance illustration job for a kids book my f
